Let's be Havin You!All ICARUS members!!Congratulations on a suberb win over the Army once again, another great result. It's a shame to see that the banter has stopped on this board this season; let's get it going again.........please!! I know there are not many games left but it would be great to stat messaging again now and continue it over the remainder of the season, tour and into close season. Remember..........there are a lot of guys OOA and geographically isolated (that is, all of Scotland!) who are sorely missed and this is a great way for them to keep in touch and remain a big and valued part of the Club ready for their return! Icarus 2nd Double over the Army in 2yrsHello guys,Well done on another great victory over the Army crusaders! Thats the way to bounce back after the match against the RAF RT. It is good to see Hodge and Jimbo's names back on the score sheet. Keep up the good work. Like Arnie (AKA - Aramis) said its about time the banter and slagging was started up again. I for one would fine it most enjoyable method of staying touch with you while I'm over in the bad lands. Besides that Picture Of Hodge the Old man car driver and his lovely girlfriend has been up far to long we need it updating and something that we can have a laugh at. The only method for contacting me is at darrancoleman@yahoo.co.uk I get to check it most days so it would be great to here from you guys and find out how we are doing. Good point that about us starting to win again, now that half-pint Coleman has deserted the mighty Icarus! Dazzler hope you are keeping your head down out there mate, you are sorely missed by the boys, both on and off the field (but mostly off!) Spelling bede!I have just spoken with Daz and apparently whilst trying to get over the big wall he was kicking the ball against (before he kicked it over it in true Coleman fashion) he fell off and twisted his ankle (so he says!) and he is now in the Med Centre being rehabilited by a rather dashing Medic with excellent massage skills.............too bad his name is Brian, I don't think that is what he had in mind!Still, not much choice out there he says so he is just going to take what he can get! Hi GuysRob Swinney here - or rather in Florida trying to live off an RAF Pension!As Arnie requested it, I'll add something to the Forum but you know that I am not one for banter or slagging off! Been getting the emails and watching icarusfc.net while I have been travelling the world (USA, Canada, NZ and Australia) and it looks like an impressive season. Really pleased to see the games against CSFA and the RAF on the fixture list, something I never managed while running the team in the 90s. I expect Icarus to up the ante for next season - I reckon you have the quality to take them on. Missed playing but I think my knee has curtailed my fourth decade of senior footie. I'm talking to Garry Ball about a guest appearance on tour (just to prove I really exist) but may depend on the appearance fee being substantial enough. Hope to see you then! Regards, Rob |

Live on the otherside!!!!!!!!!!Arnie, Fishman,(Ben Fisher Ladies and gentleman man of the tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Well boys so far I haven't found a football let alone a wall to kick it against. Although I was up close and personal with the danish girl in handball on sunday much to my enjoyment! Yes I'm still injuryed, its another 2 weeks before I'm allowed to start jogging. Quite frustrating really with it being ideal out here at the minute for running. So Fishman you think you have a touch and control, I'd better see that you've managed to get on the score sheet and beaten Jim as the top scoring midfielder although that honour I feel will be taken home by the hat trick scoring Si Hayes!! Arnie if were talking about putting the ball over the wall, you might want to try and get far enough up the field and stay standing up to actually try shooting in the general direction of the goal. So what's happened to the Shutie and Hodge? Has Hodge taken them our for a sunday drive in his oldmans car the VOLVO! Come honestly he must be the only fastjet pilot who actually drives a car that his grandad would rather walk than be seen in! Until the next round ICARUS HO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SPARTACUS

As treasurer, I am sure we can come to a mutual agreement on the appearance fee, would be great to see a true legend out there to show some of the Tour vigins the ropes.............and the way of big Ronald McDonald as the ONLY staple diet! How about some photo's of your travels for the web site? Daz, Talking about scoring, I played for the Vets/Dev team on Sat and missed the biggest sitter you will ever see! I missed (and I mean missed!) an open goal from 6 yards much to the amusement of everyone else. I started 19 Sqn this week, the Tactical Weapons Course at Valley, which is due to be 3 and a half months ish long. Then i get posted to my front line jet. I think i should open a book on where i end up.... whats the chances of it being GR4s at Lossie!!! ill fly down though, AKA Sharpy, you all know that! Speaking of Sharpy, i was shining up my cabinet of trophies from icarus when i came across a goal of the season one, and i thought back over the year so far and i really was amazed at just how sharpy has scored two (2) (deux) (ducks) peaches this season. i remember how amazed i was as the volley flew past my head so sweetly struck from the edge of the centre circle and dropped in. Unbeleivable! Oh and Du du dud dud ddu dud duu daa duuu Icarus Ho!! |
